NYAC Imo State condemns the Easter Sunday killing of innocent citizens In Orlu, Imo State

The Leadership of the Nigerian Youth Ambassadors Commune (NYAC) Imo State Secretariat, has condemned completely the Easter Sunday killings of innocent citizens in the area as a result of the clash between security operatives and unknown gunmen.
  
The State Chairman of the enlarged Youth organization, Evang. (Amb.) Nonso Iheanyi, decried the ugly incident as disheartening and very unfortunate. 

He called on the State Government to sit up in their approach to the curbing of insecurity in the most troubled Orlu zone of the Statee and also security agencies to adopt a more strategic approach to combating insecurity in order to prevent unwanted casualties.

While lamenting on the state of insecurity in the Orlu Zone of the State, Evang. (Amb.) Nonso Iheanyi, called on the people of the zone to always think of their security while engaging in their daily activities and also report suspected persons to the nearest Government security formation within their reach, as their security begins with them. 

He also called on the people to join forces with the law and security enforcement agencies to combat the menace in the area by providing information that will assist them in arresting the situation.

The leadership of the organization in the State used the opportunity to condole with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the fall-out.

In his final words, Evang. (Amb.) Nonso Iheanyi, who doubles as the National Secretary General the organization, admonished the Imo State Government to engage strategic non governmental organizations in the fight against insecurity in the State.

The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has forwarded the authentic list of statutory delegates from Abia State to the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the party's national convention slated for 26th March, 2022.
