NANC IMO STATE HOLDS HER 3RD MEETING

It was an epoch making event on Saturday, 5th March, 2022 at the Heroes Luxury Apartment and Suites, New Owerri as the National Association Of Nigerian Comrades (NANC) Imo State Axis held her general meeting with members of the organization.
The meeting which commenced at about 0320hrs with a brief opening prayer and presentation of kolanut, had in attendance a good number of Comrades including new members who came to identify with the organization and also register their full membership

The State Coordinator, Comr. Kelechi E. Ihemesinwa (Kcrose), while giving his opening remark, appreciated the members for showing commitment and support to the smooth and progressive running of the organization with regards to the strategies put in place towards arriving at the desired goals, which is to meaningfully engage the youths of the State in various lucrative and independent fields of endeavours.

Speaking further, the State Coordinator noted that for the organization to strive, there is need for all members to get committed especially on the part of the State Executives whom he opined are part of the vision bearers of NANC in Imo State.

Highlight of the meeting was the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Southeast Convention Planning Committee (SEZCPC), Comr. Victor Odili and
Comr. Nathan Chukwuma
, also a member of the Committee.

In his remarks, the SEZCPC Vice Chairman, enunciated on the preparedness of the committee towards delivering the mandate given to them by the leadership of the organization which is ensuring that the convention records a huge success with the right candidates clinging on the elective positions.

He noted that, the sale of forms for the convention commenced on Friday, 4th of March, 2022 with a deadline of 17th March, 2022 while submission of completed forms takes place on 21st of March through either the Chairman of the Committee, the Vice Chairman or the Secretary.
The SEZCPC Vice Chairman who hails from Imo State alongside Comr. Nathan Chukwuma, used the opportunity to answer some salient questions raised by members as regards to the convention especially on the issues bothering on logistics, candidacy and delegation as he emphasized that no member of the State Executive Council was eligible to contest in the election except on resignation through the State Coordinator.

In a swift reaction, Comr. Nathan Chukwuma advised that the 10-member delegates for the election should ensure that no one vote is lost for any of the candidates from the State, while inculcating in them the need to work together as one family.

On a related development, the State Coordinator in his parting remarks, assured that Imo State will be well represented at the convention while working out modalities within the scope of his office to get the organization fully registered with the State Ministry Of Youth and Sports Development.

Having done justice to the course of the meeting, a group photograph and light refreshment were taken to consummate the successful end of the gathering at about 0530pm.
