The all-awaited moment of youth inclusiveness in governance is no way farther than expected among the youths constituency, who, in their genuine quest, remarkable activism and socio-political engagement in the state and country at large, have expressed statements of vision/missional intentionality in all facets of leadership and administrative domain in the state.

This is coming on a hill of momentous declaration of interest to run for the office of the member representing EZINIHITTE MBAISE state constituency in Imo State House of Assembly through the All Progressive Congress, APC, by one of the versatile leaders of the local government, His Youthfulness, Hon. David Chiemela Nwaogwugwu, who expressed his intention to galvanizing the strength, manpower and his wealth of experience as a true leader, both within the country and in diaspora, towards the growth and development of EZINIHITTE MBAISE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

In a certain non-peculiar chronological order, His declaration, which he made on the occasion of the HOME COMING of the OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION of GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL (2000 -2006 set) on the 6th March, 2022, in Lavinto Hotels, followed an AWARD of APPRECIATION and drum of solid support presented to him by the State coordinator of Old Boys, Comr. Kennedy Uche.

He used the same opportunity to challenge the youths to rally within plausible commitment in support of his genuine intention to salvage the collective interest of EZINIHITTE MBAISE people from the shackles of political hegemony and oligarchs, who have recalcitrantly meddled with the patrimony of the local government.

The one-time “this and that”, Nwaogwugwu, who happens to be a pragmatic and scintillating youth activist; philanthropist; humanitarian and progressive Comrade, charges the youth constituency on resourceful engagement and meaningful involvement into the polity and government of shared prosperity of the state under the leadership of His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Odidika Uzodimma, as this is a what-while panacea for all-inclusive and multi-dimensional human capital development of our dream in Imo and Nigeria at large. This, he acknowledged while expressing his satisfaction on the level of infrastructural development and “state of emergency” on our roads, currently on-going in the state, courtesy of the people’s Governor.

This clarion call becomes germane and pertinent, in the height of perceived ill-representation  of the good people of EZINIHITTE MBAISE, for all progressive youths out there; all the good people of EZINIHITTE; the entire people from MBAISE NATION and all Imolites to join the bandwagon of restorative campaign of “NKWA CHUKWU KWERE NDI EZINIHITTE MBAISE 2023” to drum a solid support for the VOICE OF ONE CRYING: “Restore qualitative; all-inclusive and corruption-free governance for the dignity of ndi EZINIHITTE MBAISE”

APC National Convention: Orji Kalu Writes APC, Forwards Authentic List Of Statutory Delegates From Abia State

The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has forwarded the authentic list of statutory delegates from Abia State to the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the party's national convention slated for 26th March, 2022. The former governor of Abia State in a letter addressed to the National Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, and members of the planning committee said "the motive is necessary to totally avoid the infiltration and importation of fictitious names and designations by some overzealous party men." Kalu, in the acknowledged letter, sighted by our correspondent in Abuja on Monday, appealed to Buni to treat the letter as "most important."
