EVANG. (AMB.) NONSO IHEANYI EMERGES AS CHAIRMAN, NYAC IMO STATE CHAPTER
Evang. (Amb.) Nonso IHEANYI was on the 5th of March, 2022 appointed as the Chairman, Nigerian Youth Ambassadors Commune (NYAC) Imo State Chapter by the National leadership of the organization.
Evang. (Amb.) Nonso IHEANYI who is a minister of the gospel, is a pragmatic and indefatigable youth ambassador, having shown his leadership prowess at various capacities both within and outside the State.
This gentle, outstanding, vibrant and above all, outspoken comrade is known best as always standing for the truth even when others are afraid of voicing out. He has being tested on several occasions with leadership positions such as Director Media and Publicity, Public Relations Officer, Financial Secretary, etc. and has never disappointed in any of such offices.
Amb. Nonso IHEANYI is one who works without supervision and ensures that he gives his best shot to whatever task given to him.
The appointment letter as the Imo State Chairman of the organization was sighted by our correspondent in Owerri as it was signed by the National President, Comrade Hamza Hassan Malami, part of it which reads as
"We are pleased to notify you of the decision of the National Executive Council of our great organization, NYAC to appoint you as the Chairman, Imo State Chapter."
On his reaction, Evang. (Amb.) Nonso IHEANYI promised to live up to the expectations of the organization as he assured that during his administration, he will set legacies that will get the organization to greater heights and to also run an open door policy where all members of the organization will have equal access to him.
The Nigerian Youth Ambassadors Commune (NYAC) which is a socio-economic youth organization was formed few years ago by some Nigerian Youths across the country who came together and decided that all Nigerian Youths must be united towards developing themselves economically.
NYAC which stands on the principles of Good Governance, driven by democratic process and the rule of law, is focused on building youth capacity in terms of "Leadership, Public Policies, Governance and Rule of Law."
As part of the vision of the organization, NYAC strives to enrich the lives of young people by modelling and advancing youth-led and rights-based approaches to foster young people’s civic efficacy, community resilience, sustainable development, an equitable society, as well as proposing innovative solutions, driving social progress, and inspiring transformative change by utilizing innovative research, policy, and advocacy actions.
Presently, NYAC has her national headquarters in Abuja with a National President and State Chapters across the thirty-six (36) States of the Federation including Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja with State Chairmen and working executives.
