BREAKING: Abu Gbadamosi sworn in as factional chairman by Oyo APC

The factional Oyo state, of the All Progressive Congress (APC), on Friday, has elected Abu Gbadamosi as their new chairman 

Isaac Omodewu had already been sworn in by the Abuja, loyal factions. A development rejected by the Oyo state factions, who claimed he was imposed on them and was not a leader they chose 

Isaac Omodewu had earlier reacted to the aggrieved APC members in a friendly tone, in an interview with BBC, he also called Abu Gbadamosi a father, and someone he looked up to in politics 

However, Inside oyo reports that Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi, has been sworn in as parallel chairman of the party.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at Trans Wonderland Plc, popularly known as Amusement Park, Bodija, Ibadan.

Security Men Take Over Ojota Over Planned Protest For Slain BRT Passenger

There was confusion on Tuesday morning as armed security operatives stormed the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, the proposed venue for a protest to demand justice for the slain 22 yrs old BRT passenger, Ayanwola Bamise. Some youths had before Tuesday sent out fliers, inviting others to join them to protest against the killing of the girl in a government vehicle . The Department of State Security had since arrested the runaway driver, while the police also recovered the dead body of the missing girl. When the Nigerian Tribune visited Ojota on Tuesday morning,there were heavy presence of policemen from the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and other stations around Ojota around the park with heavy trucks and patrol vans.
